ઇન્દોરઃ અહીં વેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિઝ સામેની આજની ત્રીજી ટી-20 મૅચ પહેલાં ભારતીય ટીમનો હેડ-કોચ ગૌતમ ગંભીર (Gautam Gambhir) રવિવારે ઉજ્જૈનમાં મહાકાળેશ્વર ટેમ્પલમાં દર્શન કરવા માટે અને પૂજા-વિધિમાં ભાગ લેવા ગયો હતો. તે આ વર્ષના જાન્યુઆરીમાં પણ આ મંદિર (Temple)ની મુલાકાતે આવ્યો હતો.
ગંભીર સવારે મંદિરે પહોંચ્યો ત્યારે ઘણા ક્રિકેટપ્રેમીઓ તેને ઘેરી વળ્યા હતા તેમ જ મીડિયામેન પણ તેની પાસે પહોંચી ગયા હતા.

મધ્ય પ્રદેશના ઉજજૈનનું આ વિશ્વવિખ્યાત મંદિર 12 જ્યોતિર્લિંગમાંથી એક છે. ગૌતમ ગંભીરે ભગવાન શિવજીના આશીર્વાદ માટે ફરી એક વખત આ મંદિરની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી અને ઘણી વાર સુધી મંદિરમાં હતો.
ભારત અને વેસ્ટ ઇન્ડિઝ વચ્ચેની પાંચ ટી-20 આ શ્રેણીમાં પ્રથમ મૅચ ભારતે જીતી લીધી હતી, જ્યારે બીજી મૅચમાં કૅરિબિયનોનો વિજય થતાં શ્રેણી 1-1થી બરાબરીમાં થઈ હતી.
