નવી દિલ્હી: શનિવારે યુએસના રાષ્ટ્રપતિના નિવાસ સ્થાન વ્હાઇટ હાઉસમાં ગોળીબારની ઘટના બની હતી. કોરસપોન્ડન્ટ્સ ડિનરમાં દરમિયાન એક શખ્સે મેઈન બોલ રૂમની બહાર હુમલો કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કર્યો હતો. ગોળીબારની ઘટનામાં રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ડોનાલ્ડ ટ્રમ્પને સલામાત બચી ગયા છે. આ હુમલા અંગે ઇન્ટરનેટ પર વિવિધ પ્રતિક્રિયાનો મળી રહી છે. ભારતના વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ પણ આ ઘટના અંગે પ્રતીક્રીયા આપી છે.  

વોશિંગ્ટનમાં વ્હાઇટ હાઉસમાં ગોળીબારની ઘટના પર પ્રતિક્રિયા આપતા વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ કહ્યું કે રાષ્ટ્રપતિ, ફર્સ્ટ લેડી મેલાનિયા ટ્રમ્પ અને ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ જેડી વાન્સ સલામત એ રાહતની વાત છે. વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ તમામ નેતાઓની સલામતી માટે કામના કરતા કહ્યું, "લોકશાહીમાં હિંસાને કોઈ સ્થાન નથી અને આ ઘટનાની કડક શબ્દોમાં નિંદા થવી જોઈએ."

શેહબાઝ શરીફની પ્રતિક્રિયા:
પાકિસ્તાનના વડા પ્રધાન શેહબાઝ શરીફે પણ વ્હાઈટ હાઉસમાં ગોળીબારની ઘટના અંગે સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર પોસ્ટ કરી, તેમણે આ ઘટનાની નિંદા  કરતા કહ્યું, “આ સમાચાર સાંભળીને ખૂબ જ આઘાત લાગ્યો. રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ટ્રમ્પ, ફર્સ્ટ લેડી અને અન્ય ઉપસ્થિતો સુરક્ષિત છે,એ જાણીને રાહત થઈ."

યુએસના પડોશી દેશ કેનેડાના વડા પ્રધાન માર્ક કાર્નેએ આ ઘટના અંગે X પર પ્રતિક્રિયા આપી. તેમણે લખ્યું, “કોઈપણ લોકશાહીમાં રાજકીય હિંસાને કોઈ સ્થાન નથી અને આ ઘટનાથી જેમને અસર પહોંચી છે તેમના પ્રત્યે મારી સંવેદનાઓ."
